Expert Statement
Overview and
Guidelines

I-MDRC Expert Statements are to provide a narrative snapshot of the current state of evidence on motor competence/motor development research for a particular country, region or population group. The statements are to be written for all persons interested in motor competence and answer certain questions (please see below the document 'guidelines').

The expert statement abstract included on the I-MDRC website will be e-mailed to key stakeholders in the country/region/group/population to which the expert statement pertains. I-MDRC also has an agreement with the Journal of Motor Learning and Development to consider the I-MDRC expert statements for publication in Journal of Motor Learning and Development, subject to the condition that the Journal of Motor Learning and Development, Editorial Board approve of the topic. The expert statement may need to be revised prior to submission to the Journal of Motor Learning and Development to adhere to the publication guidelines of the Journal.
