Expert Statement
Overview and
Guidelines
I-MDRC Expert Statements are to provide a narrative snapshot of the current state of evidence on motor development/motor competence research for a particular country, region or population group. The statements are to be written for all persons interested in motor development/motor competence and answer certain questions (please see the link to document 'guidelines').

The expert statement abstract included on the I-MDRC website will be e-mailed to key stakeholders in the country/region/group/population to which the expert statement pertains. I-MDRC also has an agreement with the Journal of Motor Learning and Development to consider the I-MDRC expert statements for publication, subject to the condition that the Journal of Motor Learning and Development's Editorial Board approves the topic. The expert statement will be reviewed by the Expert Statement Review Committee prior to submission to the Journal of Motor Learning and Development to adhere to the publication guidelines of the Journal.
