Dr. Vítor P. Lopes is a Full Professor in the Sports Science Department at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB) in Portugal. His research focuses on the dynamic relationships between motor competence, physical activity, physical fitness, and overweight/obesity. He is affiliated with the Research Centre in Sports Sciences, Health Sciences, and Human Development (CIDESD) at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro. Dr. Lopes has an h-index of 46, with over 8,000 citations to his work, reflecting his significant contributions to the field.
